  • A little about us...

3brick design is a project that spawned out of Stanford's Extreme Affordability class. We're working to design and deliver a better cook stove to the developing world. We're doing this by focusing on one small market at a time (so far, just Myanmar) and creating a stove that fits into the local cooking culture. Our primary design goals are to make a stove that's extremely low-cost ($5-7 so far), durable (lasts years), and safer (minimize hot surfaces).

  • What is this?

This blog is a place for Jacqueline, Jeremy, and Larissa to talk about the project's history, applied design thinking, and what we're currently up to.
